Jesse grew up in a small town in Ontario, where he fell in love with snowboarding. Jesse knew he had to travel so he could progress and grow, which was the major influence for him moving to Whistler. He spent his adult years growing up in Whistler and networking in the community to get himself more involved so Whistler felt like home.

Jesse has also been working hard to become a professional sledder which has been a great challenge that he loves.
