Asher’s obsession with the world of fly fishing began with his father on the famed banks of the Henry’s Fork and its tributaries. His devotion to the conservation of river ecosystems, and artistic passion for the fly fishing culture and lifestyle continues to inspire him 20 years later. Tradition guides his technique and guiding style, as well as his ethics surrounding the sport. The processes of fly fishing keeps him begging for more time on the water swinging flies for steelhead, feeding picky risers on spring creeks and exploring the backcountry with fly rod and camera in hand. Asher is a lifetime resident of Utah and guides throughout the state. He also owns and operates a multimedia company specializing in outdoor photo and video production called Bloodknots.
"People say you are what you eat, but I believe you also 'are what you wear.' Living sustainably isn't just about what you do, but also about what you put on your body. Wearing eco eye protection is #1 RAD, #2 benefits the planet, and #3 helps you see the world through eco lenses. Thanks ZEAL for making that possible!"
